Wakefield bros have been great from start to finish. Sammy contacted me with a quote and follow up call. She requoted me based on my needs and I asked them to come in. They sent someone out to measure up and then arranged a date. They sent me a mock up of the design so I could see what they had in mind. Once I’d paid the deposit they booked me in - was approx 2 week turnaround. The builders were advised of my job role and were respectful of that as I was working when they were in the house. They got the job done quickly and got me to have a look at it half way through the build. I was very happy. They cleaned up between each section and left the space spotless. When they were clearing up they were mindful of my job and were very quiet. I’m very happy with the work done and have Wakefield Bros planned for another job I want doing in the new year. Very pleased with my choice of Ben Naughton of Blakemoore Bespoke Stone to design and construct an outdoor shed/workshop. From the outset, Ben proved to be conscientious in all matters pertaining to this bespoke construction. Pre-contract discussions were comprehensive, clear to understand and provided without delay. Work commenced promptly as agreed, was undertaken diligently and with significant attention to detail. Both Ben and his colleague Jay demonstrated a high degree of professionalism and, crucially, were very easy to work with throughout the project. Ben’s flexibility as to small changes during the project was very welcome. In all the circumstances I would recommend Ben Naughton to you without reservation. (Note: Following completion of the aforementioned shed/workshop construction, I instructed Ben on two further projects, including a landscaping/turfing assignment which has also been completed to a high standard.) Not a good experience. A poor unfinished job, that the building inspector has declined and left my house sale in trouble now. The inspector visited the job 4 times and still the head height on the stairs wasn't measured correctly. I had a deadline which is two weeks overdue now. I have a fine to pay the council now for wasting their time and my carpet has been ripped up to allow for the head height to be passed rather than do the job properly. Didn't follow the inspectors advise and promised to put back down which wont happen now and charged £460 for the pleasure. Seeking somebody urgently now who can do the job properly now and knows how to measure correctly.
