WARNING DO NOT HIRE We have recently redone our whole flat and We asker Zachary to box in some pipe work, lay laminate floor, install skirtking boards and radiator cover and then paint wood work which ended up costing £2700 even though th quote was for much less we think he did this to get the job over the other quotes we received The standard of work was absolutely shocking and sadly we were away whilst he finishers and he pushed us into paying before we could see it claiming he needed it desperately (I know rookie mistake on our part) He claimed he sanded down the wood work but everything was rough to the touch and had old paint chips coming through. after hiring another tradman to Put it right they told me he had not even applied a top coat and had only painted with primer after emailing back and forth for weeks he after first denying our issues promised to come fix the issues however after pestering him for over a month this did not materialise and he didn’t get in contact with us. The laminate flooring is coming away from the walls and some of the joints are not clicked in place properly we are gutted we used him and not somewith more feedback We won’t be making that mistake ever again. The skirting board has huge bits of dried glue coming out on some of the edges honestly I don’t know how he could leave a job like this - some people have no shame! DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY! I have worked for a Loft company for 3 years and a general building firm for 1 year. I'm from Potters bar and looking for local work in the Hertfordshire area. I take great pride in my work and won't leave a job unless the customer happy.

The requirement was to hang 2 x fire doors and 1x standard door. Unfortunately, none of the doors were hung to a high standard. I felt he lack experience to deal with old door frames, i had to use a lot of filler all around one of the fire doors, the other fire door has a gap where the light now comes into the room. He was messy, he didn't use any dust sheets or have a hoover to tidy up after himself. I am planning to get someone else in to remedy some of the issues. so I personally would not recommend him.
