At the very start I build all structural timber framing, stud walls, floor joisting, chipboard flooring and door linings. Then after plastering I go on to hanging doors, skirting, architraving and working with a lot of MDF sheet making service encasements, window cill boards and cabinets. Thomas quoted an initial price for my advertised job to remove my old laminate and fit new excluding materials. After agreeing the price and scheduling it in he arrived at my home and changed the price adding an extra £150 using the excuse that his quote didn’t include removing the floor and also didn’t include fitting bedding around the edges. After charging extra he also left me to fit the bedding myself. He also didn’t take the old flooring waste away as that also wasn’t included in the price. Good carpenter but I would be careful with pricing and agreements as he seems to change them after making an agreement.

Mark arrived at the appointed time, got on with the job, and was very pleasant not only when he came to give my wife and me an etimate for the job, but also when he came to do the job. He was very careful where he parked his van as we have very little space outside our front door. Mark was very tidy whilst doing the job and and cleared up everthing after. Apart from the new rail, you wouldn't have known we had a tradesman in our house! First class job - very nice chap - would certainly recommend Mark Perry of Sollertree and would have him back for any job we have in the future. Thank you Mark, John & Joan
