Martin did a brilliant job removing off fence posts which proved problematic and dug down really deep to put new posts in. They are completely sturdy and well screwed to the fence. Advice given on decking I need replacing too. Martin is a very knowledgeable and skilled worker and wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

We wanted some quotations on a tradesman to put decking in our back garden, after leaving an advert on here, Colin walker came along to look at what work needed doing. We discussed with Colin what ideas we had in our head, Colin was immediately able to give us a price. After an email from Colin we decided to go ahead with him. Colin managed to come a couple of days before his intended start date, Colin worked from 9.30 a.m until nearly 6 p.m on some days, eventhrough the pouring rain. He was professional and has done an excellent job, and unlike alot of tradesmen he cleaned the entire area up after himself. We are overjoyed with the outcome and we would highly recommend Colin. We are hoping to have Colin back next year to do some more work for us. Thanks, Gavin and Candice.

I was a bit skeptical about using My builder but after struggling to find a carpenter I thought I'd give it a go and I'm glad I did. Jamie hung 6 doors and laid approximately 30m of skirting board for me. He turned up everyday he said he would and on time, he's extremely knowledgeable in his trade, very good at it and he saved me money on the materials I needed by finding them cheaper elsewhere. I undermeasured quite a bit on the amount of skirting I needed, he even went out of his way to go back out and get more without any issues or any extra labour charge. I would highly recommend Jamie, I am definitely going to use him again for more jobs I have that need doing

I had a very disappointing experience with this contractor. The flooring job I hired him for was never completed — more than half of the work was left undone. I paid him in full because I trusted him to finish the job as promised. I also purchased enough flooring materials to complete the project, but they were mismanaged and ended up not being enough. I ordered additional flooring, which arrived in September, and asked him to come back to finish the job. He said he would return in October, but after following up, he delayed again and said he wouldn’t be available until December or January. At that point, I asked for a refund so I could hire someone else to complete the flooring, but he refused, saying he understood how I felt but wouldn’t return the money and would only do the work when he “got the chance.” I’m extremely disappointed — I paid a large amount of money for a service that was never completed, and I’ve been left with an unfinished floor and unnecessary stress.

We have an older property where nothing was straightforward, Stuart worked very hard to produce a result we are very pleased with.
