I’ve been in the building trade for over 11 years, starting my career with my family business where I earned my NVQ Level 2 and 3 in site carpentry. During that time, I also worked for a sister company specializing in woodburners—both selling and installing them—while earning my HETAS certification. My family business initially focused on traditional oak framing, and over time we’ve expanded our expertise to include new builds and larger extensions. I’ve been responsible for pitched roofing projects for the past few years, managing everything from timber structure design to the installation of various slating and tiling systems. This role has allowed me to develop a genuine passion for roofing. Broadly experienced across multiple areas of construction, I can confidently handle a wide range of building projects.
