What can i say about Brian? Punctual, 1st class workmanship, honest, all round top bloke. He went above and beyond my expectations and i am a hard man to please. He finished my flooring, boxed in pipe work for boiler, finished my internal doot frame, and fitted skirting to walls. I have already emlpoyed him to do my stairs and hallway at a later date, and any future wood work as i am renovating whole of my house. House was left clean and tidy after he finished. Thanks again Brian. Happy customer.

I hired Scott to do some skirting, and then for a set of garage doors. The skirting job was fine, but had a very bad experience with the garage doors. The workmanship was very poor. The gates were missing diagonal braces, and made with interior grade 12mm panels (despite asking to replace with similar 20mm thickness timber). There were also big gaps at the sides of the gates, and the latches don’t close properly. After complaining, Scott agreed to reduce the price, hence 2 stars instead of 1. However, only 4 months after fitting, the gates have sagged and gaps have appeared between the panels because of this. I’m going to replace them because they aren’t secure and they look bad. I tried to contact Scott again but got no replies. It’s obvious from the other reviews that Scott does some great work, so perhaps I just got unlucky. I think he undercharged us and then cut corners. I’d happily have paid more a decent job. Lessons learned both sides.

I served my time as a joiner doing new build houses , then carried on doing this for another 20 years , then when new builds started to slow down I went into refurbishment and kitchen fitting . This was for about 3 to 4 years and I'm now doing refurbs and extensions .

Paul has done a brilliant job, he fitted sliding doors on the opening of my through room and unblocked a door and fitted a new door and frame. Very helpful when choosing the doors his workmanship is excellent. He was polite nothing was too much trouble and he cleared up when he had finished. Would definitely use him again and highly recommend him for joinery work.
