Marsel kindly agreed to do a very small job for me of installing two parking bollards. He came on a Sunday with a friend and worked quickly, checking with me that he was putting the bollards exactly where I needed them. He even brought his own power washer to clean up even though it was an outdoor job. Very pleasant, efficient workers.

Work was completed well and in good time. Tradesmen made good everything and cleared up after themselves. However, I was given a 9-1 time slot, I received a call saying the guys had been outside my house for a while at 8.45am and then was (inadvertently I'm sure) made to feel bad about this. I was given a maximum cost of the job. When I checked my bank account on Friday I realised that they had already taken then money out without calling me or sending an invoice. I called this morning (after bank holiday) to discuss this and the woman on the phone didn't seem at all apologetic and said that because I'd given my details I could expect money to be charged. I then said 'well you didn't send me an invoice' (which they said they'd do in the initial phone call) and she said 'oh well I'll get one out to you this afternoon if that's alright?' I'm assuming they were never going to send an invoice and were just happy having the money in their account. Very mixed feelings about this company.

He even managed to install a set of complicated curtain rails perfectly without any instructions, which says a lot about his skill and attention to detail. Excellent job by Jamie who installed a barn door and built heavy duty floating shelves for my utility room. Jamie also order the supplies needed on my behalf and cleaned up at the end of the day. Jamie is very knowledgeable in carpentry and was able to advise me on options and solutions. I'll be booking more work with Jamie in the new year. Highly recommend.
