  I didnt hire anyone for this job.. it went ti hire as a default for some reason. Andrii did not cary out my work because I never decided to do it. Leaving him a 5 as a good gesture and to close this outstanding job as its stuck on hired/in progress.

  I normally don’t like writing bad reviews as I know how it may affect a trade persons source of income. But in this instance it is necessary! The kitchen was done to good standard after a long hassle of going back and forward with him about the kitchen arrangements. It was designed and delivered by B & Q. And him being a builder he should have made his way around the problems which I think he could’ve approached in a better manner. The skirting was done to an awful and inexperienced level. He had screwed them in with many holes being left on the skirtings. Which destroyed the appearance of them. When asked if we would fill the holes and use decorators chalk/silicone for the gap at top of the skirting and the wall he replied with ‘that ain’t my job’ which I think is a awful attitude to work. Furthermore, we had paid him accordingly to the work he completed per day so it was fair and by the end of the week he would have been paid in full. But he insisted on being paid earlier than schedule and then threatened me on several occasions he will rip out or break the kitchen with a hammer. So I was forced to pay. He didn’t turn up a few days with the excuse he was too busy to come and complete the kitchen. But I was more concerned about him taking majority of the money and the work being heavily pending. I felt intimidated by him and his attitude to work needs fixing. So if you as a consumer wish to take him on as a builder be prepared!

  Mr Campbell is an excellent carpenter with experience, skills and dedication to the work. The boiler housing unit was ordered via Mr Campbell business account from howdens at discounted rate. it was fitted perfectly in a difficult and restricted location where surface of the wall wasn't on the same level on each sides. The problem was resolved by Mr Campbell's quick thinking and excellent design. I would highly recommend Mr Campbell to family, neighbors and friends.

  Bogdan and his team did a good job with both the flooring, skirting boards, architraves and the stairs in my home. Their communication was easy throughout, which was especially helpful when dealing with any unexpected issues and very patient when explaining the possibilities and dealing with our anxiety. I especially appreciated their flexibility, as I changed the stair project to cladding just two days before they started, and they adapted to the new request right away. He managed to adapt the stair as I bought a different one. They somehow managed to take care of my newly painted wall. Everything was completed on time and left tidy.

  David was very knowledgeable, helpful and skilled in all the various tasks he carried out for us. Dave fitted and hang cupboard doors, lay a bedroom laminate floor and mended some old furniture.   Peter was the on-site foreman on our complete house renovation, which took just over a year. This included an additional ensuite pod bedroom in the roof and a side-return and extension to the kitchen. Peter was totally reliable throughout the project and thoroughly professional. Throughout this time we were living in the house with the children. He was always on time, managed the on-site team well and communicated clearly with us. His workmanship is high quality and he was also a stickler for checking the work of others and getting it updated if it wasn’t up to scratch. I have no hesitation in recommending Peter.

  Alex came very punctually to do the job and laid down a wooden hallway which I am very pleased with.He also repaired my front doors and added a draught excluder. Alex was patient, polite and got on with the job in a very efficient and cheerful manner-I would hire him again for other jobs in the future.
