I work for a Property Management company and hired John to change the flat entrance doors in a block of 36 flats. His communication has been excellent throughout despite having to answer a constant stream of questions from some very demanding leaseholders at times! His prices far undercut all of the other fire door quotes I had received and the directors at the development were very happy with the standard of work. Chris came on the day as planned just 1.5 days work. Put up are oak staircase rails and new spindles etc. Chris is very polite respectful, communicates well and gives suggestion and options. We def will be hiring Chris for our next project.

Dale answered my job on my builder to build a new door frame and hang some doors despite being 30 miles away. I asked if he minded travelling so far out to which he said he didn’t. However on two occasions which Dale agreed to do the work he didn’t turn up on the job. First time I got what seemed like an excuse but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and rearranged for a week later. The next week I waited in all morning for him to turn up, he didn’t answer the phone when I called to find out where he was at 11oclock I just got a text to say sorry I can’t find my keys. I never heard from him again after this, not a call or a text to apologise for not being able to make it or to rearrange. 24 hours later he hasn’t read my last whats app even though he’s been online. So I can only assume he just didn’t want the job and was hoping I would look elsewhere which I will have to now. Not really a great way to treat a customer who really needs the job done and could have spent the last few weeks looking for an alternative tradesman if only he had been honest about not really wanting the job and wasted my time.
