I’ve been in the construction industry for over 40 years qualified as a carpenter at the age of 19 after a 3 year apprenticeship. Worked for several years specialising mainly in renovation and refurbishing residential properties where I gained a vast general knowledge of all the various building trades leading to me being part of a family building company for many years. I have experience in restorations, indoors mostly to do with flooring, laying, sanding, levelling. and also exterior restorations such as repointing with different methods, London weatherstruck joint, flush joints, half round, recessed. all done with either sand and cement or lime. i can also carry out flat roofing jobs, fibreglass roofing, polyurethane roofing, completed with gutterings and downpipes. i am willing to travel anywhere in london for certain jobs and also out of london if need be.
