Chris reversed the swing of a large period door for me and I would highly recommend his work. Was particularly impressed with the attention he paid to my requirements before starting the work; his communication, promptness and reliability; clearing up after the job; and friendly, but professional manner. He’s evidently a skilled at what does and charged a reasonable rate for the job. I hope to use him again.

Luke was incredibly professional and did a fantastic job on our stairs. He was very polite and worked quickly and quietly (we barely even noticed he was there for most of it). Incredibly happy with having the proper staircase restored in our period property, and we have him booked in to do the doors and panelling in the coming months. Would highly recommend

Cannot recommend Kieran enough we had a carpet fitted in a bedroom and the main door and cupboard doors needed trimming and refitted. This was the week leading up to Christmas so needed it doing asap as we had guests staying in that room. Kieran was really accommodating and fitted us in around his already scheduled jobs and the work was done to high standard. We need more things doing in our house in the near future, so pleased we have found a great reliable tradesman for the jobs. Thanks again Kieran

Conversions - General- 27 Apr 2019
Craig, Bob and Timmy of HD Design and Build have been an absolute credit to the building trade throughout our project. With a young family still living in the house, their professionalism, punctuality, cleanliness, advice and attention to detail meant they kept disruption and intrusion into the rest of the home to a minimum and we were able to continue life without too much disruption. I have a multitude of photos of the build throughout which show the excellent standard that they worked to every day which can be supplied on request. Craig offered objective advice based on experience throughout and although he clearly always strives for perfection, was never pushy for us to make a decision to use a high end product over something that was more affordable or suitable. Our newly laid herringbone parquet oak floor is the talk of the street and is a testament to their skill and attention to detail. The finished rooms we have now far exceed our expectations of design and quality and that is largely down to Craig's advice and the experience and skill of him and his team. Craig was also instrumental in keeping me calm in many situations when dealing with suppliers and offered sound advice without judgement. I would recommend HD Design & Build to everyone with the belief that they will make your designs come to life and then some!
