I posted my job and received many, many quotes, but out of all of them, one stood out — Fabio. His workmanship is absolutely spectacular. He kept everything tidy throughout, cleared all site waste at the end, and was always courteous and professional. Most importantly, he is completely genuine — which is rare to find. Julian came very soon after the doors had arrived and fitted them quickly and to a high standard. He dealt extremely well with the challenge of fitting new doors into old door frames that weren't straight and he helped me choose the correct hinges. He also dealt with the fact that the new doors are extremely heavy fire doors that are difficult to handle. And he even provided support in ensuring the colour of unfinished new doors will match the old door frames. He is polite, friendly and efficient. I can recommend him highly.

Georgi was great and we are already planning to have him back for further work. He fitted five fire doors in record time, including self-close mechanism on the kitchen door, to irregular frames and to a quality befitting a professional carpenter. He installed a kitchen window pane in 30 mins as part of his daily rate and a bunch of other fixes, including constructing a makeshift kitchen cabinet, installing ventilation fans, pre-cutting skirting boards, reinstalling and fixing a shower enclosure. He was multiskilled, punctual, polite and with a full professional tooset. When I asked him to redo a boxing-in of pipes which I hadn't specified to him adequately, he didn't quibble and on the second go he did a superb job. I wish I had found him to do my whole kitchen fitting!

I contacted Ekland and his brother Bes for some light refurbishment. I was so impressed with the work and speed that they ended up doing all the works I intended to do. Starting with latex screed, flooring using LVT system, architraves and skirting boards, installation of 9x heavy duty fire doors, carpets in 2x bedrooms and finally decoration. Prices were very reasonable considering the time and effort they put into installation but not only that, as I am a first time buyer they advised me on design as I didn’t really know where to start. They are honest and reliable, where I tried to save money they said it was not the right thing to do and took additional hours to make something right without a hidden extra. They turn up at 8am everyday and so easy to work with, I left them the keys to my flat and I didn’t need to check in on them at all. If you are thinking to do any refurbishment and are either hesitant or not knowing where to start these are your guys. 5* to Vukaj and thank you!
