Michel designed and installed all structural internal carpentry from room partitions, doorways, pocket doors, staircases and structural landings, balustrades and spindles, as well as architraves and skirting boards. I was very happy with the oak planter Ty made for me. It looks great, it was made precisely as asked for, was ready ahead of schedule. Ty brought it to my street for contactless delivery. Hiring a tradesman can sometimes feel daunting, especially if you've had experiences of ending up with something quite different to what you asked for, but Ty congenially answered all my questions without making me feel silly, sent a CAD design to check we had an agreed plan, and even gave good advice for future upkeep.

Mark came to fix 2 door handles that we're faulty on some internal doors. He was very flexible and always willing to work around my schedule even if it inconvenienced him. Although the job was more tricky than he first thought, mark showed excellent perseverance and demonstrated his great problem solving ability. I Will always use mark from now on. Very reliable and didn't break the bank! 10/10

Very disappointed. When he came to price the job he quote 1300. He said 600 for labour and 700 for materials. I even paid him before he completed the work. He returned yesterday to complete the job and charge me another 180£ because the bathroom door could not close so he had to cut into the frame. I told him he was being unfair because he quoted me a price and now he is asking for more money. The job is not even completed. He put fillers in the areas that was damaged and he told me when it is dried I must sand it then paint it. I now have to pay someone else to complete the work. I am not happy. I have taken photos which I would like to show. He said the door frame was not part of the job.

Florin was great to work with, punctual, careful and clearly took pride in what he does. The location of the door changed on the first day due to the presence of a gas main. Florin happily renegotiated the works given it was now going to be less complicated and pressed on same day. We will certainly be contacting florin for future works.

Two things about George. Firstly his quality of work is excellent including good attention to detail and care with tidying/cleaning at the end of each day. Secondly, he communicates well both before and during the job - for example mid-way through this project there was a choice of how to do something, and he asked me rather than making a unilateral decision.
