Be cautious when doing business with this company. Despite having a written agreement, they kept requesting more money than agreed, after the job had already started. While the quality of the work is good, the handling of the agreement was unprofessional.

James is a great guy. Very tidy and considerate, he takes care in his work and took into consideration the fact he was working on our home. His communication on occasions could have been better but he was called away to work on emergency repairs due to storm damage, as I beleive he does insurance work. When we had some snags he was happy to do those straight away. We will be calling him again when funds allow as his standard of work is good. We had previously had builders who had ripped us off and he was aware of that fact so took a gentle approach to the work he was carrying out and explained the steps he was going to take before each stage. He is not in a rush to get paid as he still has not given us his final bill. I trust it will be close to his initial estimate, which we received as a well laid out and clearly explained set of jobs with individual payments clearly prescribed. (our previous builder had his hand out at the end of every week for payment this feels like a more honest client builder relationship) he still has one additional job to complete in addition to the original brief.
