Secondly, he communicates well both before and during the job - for example mid-way through this project there was a choice of how to do something, and he asked me rather than making a unilateral decision. Shem is absolutely amazing! Just had an entertainment unit fitted on my wall and it couldn’t be nicer. The attention to detail is fantastic and it’s exactly how imagined. Even better, Shem is an absolute pleasure to have around and put 100% into the job. He also left no dust or mess, which was staggering. I was very happy with the oak planter Ty made for me. It looks great, it was made precisely as asked for, was ready ahead of schedule. Ty brought it to my street for contactless delivery. Hiring a tradesman can sometimes feel daunting, especially if you've had experiences of ending up with something quite different to what you asked for, but Ty congenially answered all my questions without making me feel silly, sent a CAD design to check we had an agreed plan, and even gave good advice for future upkeep.

I called Charlie over 20 times with no answer. I bought materials, he sent a quote, I accepted the quote and started preparation for the job and then he sent me a picture of his broken leg on WhatsApp. Gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited for over a month - still nothing.

Kaiser and his team were very courteous, fast and worked hard to complete the job in no time. The original job was to frame the loft as the previous builder left before completion. but Kaiser straight away spotted an issue with a bowed dormer beam and suggested to fix it for a reasonable price. They also made sure every part of the roof is properly supported. I must admit I was lucky this was spotted and rectified at this stage. He was the first builder to quote for the job but I couldnt have found better!

Mark came to fix 2 door handles that we're faulty on some internal doors. He was very flexible and always willing to work around my schedule even if it inconvenienced him. Although the job was more tricky than he first thought, mark showed excellent perseverance and demonstrated his great problem solving ability. I Will always use mark from now on.
