Almost indescribable how Joe left my house. He is refusing to return calls and has left damage and an incredible mess. Leave well alone, it is not worth the risk. His behaviour and what I can only consider deliberate destruction, has been disgusting and I will be taking legal action to reclaim damages.

I have 20 years experience as a carpenter and experienced in all aspects of carpentry and other trades with in the industry. As carrying out plenty of renovation work though out the years I have learnt to turn my hands not just to carpentry. I take pride in my work and like to think I have an eye for detail. I’m taking on work in and around the Ashbourne area travelling with a 25ish mile radius of Ashbourne Derbyshire. As mentioned I have experience of all things carpentry preferring second fix work doors, skirtings, kitchens, wardrobe/storage, enjoy doing maintenance work and also outdoor work decking outdoor buildings ect. I have recently relocated to Ashbourne as this is a first time looking for work my previous work has always been word of mouth.

Chris, a solid honest bloke, with a absolute "do it right" attitude. He was straight up and helpful all the way, clean (even the plasterer!!) and we couldn't be happier with the work. We had to wait weeks until he was available, but is that not a mark of a good tradesman! when you find one hang on to his number. Cracking work, good lads, we will be seeing them again for fitted wardrobes, kitchen and bathroom over the coming years for sure. thanks guys. Pleasure.

I contacted Ethan Nov18 we wanted our basement converted. He seemed like a trust worthy man that had experience and knowledge, we put our faith in him to do the job! below why this is a negative review; 1. We payed £4000 upfront for him to buy the materials but the materials where purchased personally by the tradesman who told us they did not know Ethan (Ethan told us he had a team of tradesmen within his company) 2. He promised us he would over see the whole job, but he only spent a total of 20 hours at our home in the space of 2 months using excuse after excuse as to why he could not come. (we both lost money from taking time off work to meet him at the house) 3. Ethan finally came to knock down a wall. Once it was down he unbelievably told me " I have knocked the wall down, hope its not a supporting wall, we will just see how the house settles" ! we then had to get a surveyor ourselves to come and check that it was not a supporting wall as Ethan would not answer his phone! luckily it was not. 4. Its a shame we cant put pictures on here of the poor quality of work he has done. In regards to the floor which he "levelled" and "damp proofed" ( floor was wet to touch) and he used insulation that was meant for a shed, the carpet fitters refused to lay over it and we lost our deposit. There is so much more i could say,the work is not done and we have not heard from Ethan regarding rectifying the work after messaging and calling him. He is a liar and should not be trusted!

Jack is a very experienced roofer. Jack and his team arrived on time, they were very polite and just got on with the job. The person I previously hired did everything wrong and Jack and his team put everything right. No more leaks and it’s actually warmer. My family and I are very happy with their work. The roof got done on the 6th of December, but I’ve waited awhile to see if there was any issues before I left a review. None whatsoever. I highly recommend Jack and his team. The team work was exceptional.
