I used Rob at Belmax Builders for a kitchen/Dining conversion. Rob provided a quote within 48hrs of posting. The job was started very quickly and Rob sorted all the necessary trades and a schedule of work. The finish project is seamless. He also made some fitted cupboards which look amazing. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Belmax Builders again.

Thomas came today and started the 1 door hanging at 1pm He charges £30 per hour and said it shouldn't take too long, so I took the old door off for him and arranged the new door, hinges, handle and lock ready for him before he arrived. I was Hoping 1 door hanging would be a Max 2 hours job. 3 Hours later he finished the door. He hung the door well. BUT then damaged the door while fitting the handle and lock. He put white filler to cover the whole/gap he made and said painting will hide it. On the reserve side of the door by the handle he made a 8 cm crack line !!! He wanted £90 for 1 door hanging even with the damages he made. Then said he would take £80. I am Not Impressed by a carpenter with 8 years of experience to damage a door as above. He left all the mess on the stairs by the door and only did a quick tidy up in the room. I trusted My builder to have competent Trades People......

I have over 30 yrs experience with the installation of conservatories, windows and doors. I am a sole trader not a large company with big overheads that are usually passed onto the customer with pricing. I put quality over quantity and keep costs competitive. I am happy to advise customers but will never pressure sell any product to them. I will always treat a customers property with respect and will be kept tidy at all times. Unfortunately I do not offer base work but can advise on any work needed to complete the installation.
