I have been working for over 40 years and have had a vast experience of all types of carpentry and joinery, as well as plenty of general building experience too. Hi, I have been doing carpentry since I left school and actually before I left working weekends with my Father for sharps bedrooms. After I completed my apprenticeship aged 19 I went self employed and started to work on new build sites pitching roofs and mostly doing 1st fix works. As I got slowly dispondant with new build works because of the lack of care for finishing and a general lack of pride I started to take on full refurbs and working for local builders. In this time I learnt a lot about other trades and how best to organise working with them to make sure everyone could do their best work. I am 42 now and this is the only career I have ever done so I think it’s fair to say that I have a good amount of experience obviously with carpentry, but also making sure the client gets what they wanted with as little drama as possible. I have been a Carpenter and Joiner since I left School 37 years ago. Since then I have covered all aspects of Carpentry and Joinery. I have my own workshop which I can make just about anything, Windows, doors, staircases, cabinetry work. I specialise in restoration, but take on all aspects of Joinery. Based in Liss Hampshire and work in roughly a 20 mile radius. Obviously I am very experienced, but on top of that you will only deal with me. I have been working in this industry for 30 years as a qualified bench joiner and have developed a variety of skills over this time from hanging a simple internal door to a complete refit of shops and bars. I work out of a small workshop in Littlehampton, West Sussex with all the machinery to make all types joinery from windows and doors and a variety of cabinets, media walls, counters, etc. I work with a variety of materials including hardwood, softwood, MDF, laminate (Formica) and decorative melamine chipboard.
