I have completed projects in reclaimed rustic timbers such as oak right through to contemporary laminates and veneers and am happy to advise about what possibilities and products meet the clients needs and budget. I am very proud of the skills I have gained over the years and equally proud of the positive feedback from customers. I do ask that If inviting myself to quote for a job please do not invite others until I have chance to reply as there is a fee attached to quote for jobs . The unit is to hold vinyl LP records below, with amplifier and turntable on levels above, in a fireplace alcove. I had asked for reclaimed pine to match the waxed pine floorboards in the room, but Richard proposed reclaimed oak. As I was just installing a limed oak mantelpiece, rescued from a skip by a cabinetmaker friend and restored, I accepted this idea. He delivered the unit yesterday. It's well made and fits accurately into the space it was designed for. The limed oak finish is an excellent match to the mantelpiece. It adds character to the room and I am very pleased with it.
