Recently I have had a few issues with a joiner whom I hired through my builder. They did cause me a lot of un-necessary stress. To my delightful surprise, Attila and Steve have put my faith back into honest workmen. From the start I found Wolf and Young polite, listening to my requirements and completing my work with thorough attention to detail. Attila and Steve are clearly perfectionists. Yes, they were a little more expensive than other quotes however, I cannot stress enough – THEY ARE WELL WORTH PAYING. I really wish I had hired Wolf and Young for my earlier jobs. I will certainly be hiring Wolf and Young again. Some highlights: • Started the job on time when they said they would • Had all the required materials and tools to complete the job • Completion price was the same as the quote • They did not cut corners to the complete the job • Cleaned up after their work (not just in the house but in the garage) – which is particularly important if you have children in the house • Very hard working • Paid an impressive amount to detail in completing my work • Work was completely stress free! Bottom line, you get what you pay for, and Wolf and Young are value for money.

Anthony built some oak shelving and cabinets for our living room. It was quite a large and complex job. His craftsmanship was excellent and we are delighted with the finished work, we are really pleased. Anthony also has great integrity, so you can trust him. We would be more than happy to recommend him. His work is of a high standard. One thing I would mention is that although his work is excellent, he's not that good at keeping in touch and letting you know what's happening which at times we found a bit frustrating. I would recommend that you agree at the outset how best to keep in touch. Having said that we are pleased we selected Anthony to do the work.

Jimmy upgraded our two wardrobes with bespoke solutions for internal drawers, partitions, pull out shoe storage, and folding doors. From the beginning Jimmy was friendly, helpful, available, and extremely kind. Very clear communication and reasonable prices. He has a lot of passion for his job and incredible craftsmanship. The upgraded wardrobes not only look stunning, they are solid and perfectly built, have quality components, work flawlessly, and the have a very clever design. Jimmy cares that the job is well done and that every detail is right. It was a pleasure to have him work in our house - very focused, tidy, and always extremely nice. It gives us joy having had such a nice work done by such an amazing carpenter and person. Highly recommended.

Working with Andrzej to get the bespoken shelf unit and boiler wall unit in my kitchen was a pleasure. I gave him some sketches and measurements of what I wanted that he priced up before visiting my property to discuss the design in more detail and offer suggestions that clearly come with years of experience. Time from quote to fitting the finished pieces was less than two weeks. I really couldn't be happier with the finished units. The quality and finish is amazing. He and his team tidied up after installing the units and left my kitchen as they found it. I'd definitely recommend.

Markel completed the job on time, before Christmas. The plan was to build two alcove cupboards, redecorate the whole room and then lay a new wood floor. The job turned out to be more complicated than originally thought, mainly due to damp floorboards and a wall. Markel was very helpful, laying new floorboards, treating the wall and then laying a whole new floor as well as completing the initial job. Scheduling an appointment for the quote, the actual job plus payment were all very easy. The job has been completed as we wanted, we are pleased. We would definitely use VM Carpentry again.
