We moved into a new (old) house this week and in the process of moving the furniture in the several of the stairs collapsed. This was obviously a bit of a disaster (understatement) as we had no way of getting anything upstairs - everything we owned ended up packed into the living room! We called David at lunchtime, he came and had a look less than an hour later, went off to get the necessary materials and then spend the best part of three hours in a tiny cramped cupboard under our stairs making them safe! He was with us well into the evening! David was amazing! Professional, polite and made sure the stairs were safe - we have small children so that was so important to us - I honestly cannot recommend him highly enough. We will definitely be using him again (hopefully under less stressful circumstances).

We hired Mike initially to hang our new internal doors, however on the day he was supposed to fit them our supplier let us down and they did not turn up, we asked Mike to use the day building us an under stairs storage cupboard which he completed and we are really pleased with, When the doors eventually turned up we called Mike and he fitted us in. Even when some of the doors did not turn up and some of the door frames being really poor in condition, Mike set too, made good and fitted the doors over 3 separate occasions, with no fuss and for that we are truly thankful Mike, this man is pleasant, works hard and cleans up after him every time. Thanks Mike for a job well done even though it was not straight forward for you as suppliers let us down. This man is well worth considering when you want a carpentry job doing, we sure will call you again Mike when we need other jobs doing

Gary, was fantastic for us - he provided a good quote, started the job within a couple of weeks and did a super job of smartening up a tired looking kitchen. He arrived at 8am every day, left at 5pm and worked through his lunch. He was exceptionally tidy, has extremely high personal standards, and was always prepared to do the odd small extra here and there. We had a really bad experience the last time we used this website, so were nervous but this has reassured us in human nature and made us realise that not all trades are charlatans. We wouldn't hesitate recommending Gary to anybody if you want a great kitchen job for a good price. 5*

I ended up asking Adam to do a whole load of additional work. Short of changing the cabinets he totally renovated my kitchen and laundry, making it look brand new. Worktop sanding and finishing, fitted sinks ( and repairing previous faults and leaks as he went) tiling, rehanging a door to make more room in the utility, lighting, cooker hood, decoration and fitting a wooden floor. You name it - he did it. Perfection. I would wholeheartedly recommend Adam, he is an incredibly talented and hard working tradesman. His standard of work is very high. He is a totally reliable and a brilliant all rounder. To top it all he is very patient and approachable and offers great value for money.
