What a lovely man Brian is: he came, he saw (the mess) and he conquered! He quickly understood what was wanted and he kindly brought samples of different bricks to the house in advance. He and his two (very nice) workmen built a beautiful retaining wall in the garden, having dug out quite a large amount of soil and crumbling sleepers. The mess was disposed of quickly in a skip and they were immaculate in their clearing up. The homeowner wants further work doing and would be happy to employ Brian again. His price was neither cheap nor outrageous and his work (and the team's) was top quality. He is a very experienced builder who was very happy to listen to exactly what the homeowner had in mind. Absolutely superb! During the whole process Judd epitomised the word 'professional' - always in contact and always communicating. My partner and I wanted our victorian end of terrace perimeter wall extended in height with reclaimed bricks. Judd was able to tie in the new reclaimed bricks with the old wall exactly how we wanted - we couldn't be more happier with the job. Couldn’t have asked for a better job. Reached out to Darren and his guys with originally a much smaller repair and replace job for a damaged section of retaining wall. Following some good quotes to take on that work and the moving of a fence line and extending the retaining wall to enclose the corner of the garden, the guys were with us, and other than a few delays for torrential weather, completed the work, well within the expected time frame. The wall and fence line are now much more secure and the guys have done a really smart job. Mark came to quote for the job and we found him to be polite, knowledgeable and fair. Communication all the way along was brilliant, and when I moved the goalposts slightly Mark was very accommodating. The two lads (shout out to Bernie and the other Mark) that did the job were super hard working - they grafted from the moment they arrived until they finished. The work was done in a professional and competent manner and we're really happy with the end result.
