Latest review:Bricklaying-I called Carl in November 2023 he came out and left me a quote which I was happy to pay. Work was due to start in January 2024. However this was unsuccessful as Carl was catching up with other jobs and had a death in the family. I called him back in February as I feel this was enough time for a grievance period & I had deadlines to meet. I asked Carl if he could come out and install a Lintel as well as the initial quote for a stone staircase making & reponting. Carl agreed. In March I asked Carl if he had penciled me in as my other works were being delayed because Carl wasn’t giving me a specific start date? I did ask Carl if he was still interested in the job. Which he replied yes. Carl then said he would book me in week commencing 15/04. As I thought he didn’t ring or message to say differently. Carl has delayed my project and wasted alot my time. I can confirm I haven’t had any work done but come on if you don’t want to do the job just be honest with people. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
Dave came to quote on a lintel install and was a fair price. The day before the job he confirmed when he would arrive. Arrived on time, did the work and cleaned up after. Plasterer came the day after, polite and punctual and he cleaned up as well. Would happily recommend Dave.
Steve was very professional,tidy and punctual did an excellent Job for a sensible price,would definitely use again and would highly recommend.
Received a reasonable quote from Stewart to rebuild an outside wall and remove debris and soil.He kept to his start date and with no supervision from me his 2 guys did a great job exactly as he promised including leaving the site really clean and tidy. Highly recommend and I will use them again.

In late November 2023, Brendan Graham from BG Construction was invited to give me a quote on the possibility of building a perimeter garden wall and a central raised bed in the front garden. He arrived promptly and spent time listening to my proposals and offering constructive help and advice. Brendan’s approach to this project and the reasonable quote he calculated for the work needed to be undertaken secured the contract for him. Brendan alone carried out the work. He arrived punctually each morning and worked hard each day (despite the inclement weather) to dig the foundations and build the walls. He also built a raised platform in front of the main door. Brendan spent considerable time cutting the coping stones accurately for each of the the corners and ensuring that these decorative features were firmly secured. Brendan completed the project in a professional and friendly manner and to our satisfaction. We are very pleased with the result and I have no hesitation in recommending him for other projects.

Latest review:Bricklaying-I am a tradesperson myself (Gas engineer) and work to high standards and am very pleased with the work carried out. Steven and his team have been fantastic from initial quotation to giving advice and explanation through out the process so we were fully informed as the work was being completed.
