From initial contact with this tradesman to completion, our experience has been nothing short of stunning. Chris arrived exactly when he said he would each day and created an amazing bathroom for us. To say we are pleased with the finished product is an understatement. Each day after finishing work Chris tidied up and left the house immaculate. Not only that but he also did numerous tasks that were not included in the original estimate, without any charge. I certainly would never consider using anyone else to do any work in our house, and indeed have lined up plenty more work for Chris to do. The quality of the work was outstanding and Chris's approach and genuine friendliness made this a first class and highly enjoyable experience. What a team... Arrived on time and placed dust sheets up stairs and place of work. Had to remove old multi sink and toilet and replace with separate sink and toilet. From the start there was problems caused by the fitters of the old system. The quality of work to replace sink and toilet was very Professional, even moving Toilet to a better position. Very competitive price, and would recommend to anyone who wants a professional, friendly job done. Property left clean and tidy on leaving. Thanks again .

We were pleased with the bathroom but Andy let himself down by not coming back as promised to plumb the towel rail in once we’d had the room plastered. We took him at his word that he’d come back so paid him in full. He had seemed very honest but after the initial few msgs and excuses he started ignoring our msgs. Shame as would have had him back to do other stuff. We had to pay someone £150 to fit the radiator as we couldn’t wait any longer with the cold weather

After 13 years and 16 jobs on here, this is my first negative review. But I would avoid at all costs for large projects, due to their lack of communication and organisational skills. If you do proceed, I’d suggest: - Confirm in writing they’ve read and understood all the plans and have no questions or concerns about anything. - Confirm that cost overruns will be communicated weekly, with a breakdown of the costs. - Confirm the builders on site will have been given the actual plans for the work being done. - Confirm terms will be agreed up-front and will not change them weekly. - Arrange payments on milestones met and not time elapsed. Confirm additional work will only proceed when agreed in writing in advance. - Require weekly f2f meetings with the owner at end of play on Fridays to assess progress and surface any issues, concerns or questions. - Confirm who will be leading the project on-site. - Confirm that if huge overages will be presented with an itemised breakdown.

I thought the job looked good but I noticed the door was not shutting properly so I had another carpenter to have a look. The inside handle was higher than the one on the outside of the door. The side of the door was not plained straight and the bottom of the door was touching the floor. Nearly ended up buying a new door. This has all now been put correct but the door is not perfect because the damage has been done. My new carpenter also fitted the rest of my doors and did an amazing job.
