RAB Quality Building ltd converted our 3 bed semi-detach house into a 4 spacious studio apartment. They were punctual and stuck to the time-frame given. They were clean and tidy, ensuing to clear the site of any mess. They were hard working and the quality of their work is excellent. They used high quality materials non of the cheap stuff but yet didn't charge the earth, they gave me a reasonable quote. I would definitely recommend these guys, they did a fantastic job for me.

Very unprofessional person. Saw the job and gave a quote. We agreed the price and then he changed his mind. He gets others to do jobs and often they change mind. He changed his price twice and eventually changed his mind wasting over a week of my time. Don't hire. Not recommended.

I got annoyed many times after what I thought would be a successful project turned out not to be. It significantly overran even though I was told it would take under 2 weeks. All the questions & instructions I emailed well before the start weren't even read because the contractor kept asking me the same things that I'd already answered. I wanted to recycle the worktops & expected that an experienced contractor would attend to that first so as to see if they can be reused, but half way through the installation of a new kitchen I got told I needed to buy new ones. By the time I got them, I was already 3-4 weeks behind. He also failed to do good plumbing in my bathroom by freezing a pipe after I'd upgraded heating- this resulted in a nasty leak through my neighbour's ceiling in the middle of the night, which has so far cost me almost £400. This was not my tab to pick up.There were other issues- I found empty milk bottles & bagged cement left behind. It wasn't my responsibility to clean his rubbish as I got charged by the weight by a waste collector for my own. Finally, the contractor dismantled a perfectly solid piece of large kitchen unit which I emphasised a few times I wanted to keep & he failed to tell me what he did, so it got thrown away with other waste. When I asked for a refund, I got turned down with a rude comment about my boyfriend.After this, I realised I should've done a more thorough research before awarding this job.In short, I wouldn't recommend this contractor.
