Really pleased with my kitchen backsplash that Dale's fitted. I wasn't sure what I wanted but he provided a beautiful option for my budget. He kept me up to date with the delivery/install date. Dale also went the extra mile to fit it around my under-cabinet lights and match the silicone colour so it's seamless. Left the space clean and tidy - spotless in fact. Can't fault him, will be in touch for other jobs.

Richard did a great job on the bathroom. The job came in on spec, on agreed price and was done far quicker than I expected with minimum disruption to the tenant. Finish was excellent. On the back of this job, Richard is now conducting a full refurb for me on another house. That too is progressing well. As I live a distance from my portfolio, good communication is vital. Richard is a very good communicator, using What's App to show photos of progress. I look forward to further projects in the future.

Not to be trusted with big jobs. Claiming to be cheap he will pad out a job with short working hours, multiple cigarette/tea breaks and materials ordered far too soon to be immediately useful. He is messy, resulting in time lost finding his tools and building materials. More time is eaten up through several trips per day buying basic items that should be to hand for the job ahead. He is also over-familiar and foul mouthed with tobacco-related hygiene issues. He will bring a plasterer to the job whether or not he is needed because they are good friends. His workmanship, especially his tiling, is shoddy and his plumbing is both slow and doesn't follow good practice with regard to pressure testing. All of his on-show carpentry was done by another carpenter. He left the job early with screws through pipework, pipes that burst when put under pressure and other pipework rendered inaccessible underneath his tiling. Most offensively, he tried to blackmail me into writing him a good review on Mybuilder by offering himself as an advisor to whomever took over the unfinished work. To sum up, avoid.

I asked Elys to install a dishwasher in my kitchen with associated pipe work and new kitchen waste. He was prompt, advised me of any extra costs for materials and the following day he completed the job. He kept the area tidy while working and cleaned up afterwards. I am really pleased with the job. A calm and friendly person, I would recommend him for his thoughtful customer service. His costs are reasonable. I will be employing him to make a complete new bathroom in the new year.

Matt and his guys did a brilliant job, the bathroom is incredible. He kept me posted on progress and although it took a bit more time than expected Matt was always clear about why and either himself or his guys were in on the weekends to catch up. The finish is great and Matt happily came back to touch up one or two things that only I would notice! Matt, Craig and the other chaps are tidy, efficient and nice guys, I was totally happy to leave the keys with him and let them get on with it. Would hire them again and recommend.
