Extremely Disappinted with Planetium Construction- I hired Planetium for a 59k renovation job. Initially, the workmanship was acceptable only because I supervised closely and had them redo substandard work multiple times. However, before the job has been complete, I discovered already a roof leak in the master bedroom, direcly under the newly renovated bathroom. Despite my repeated requests, Planetium refused to take responsiblity or fix the issue. Just telling me need additional charges for the work. Worst still, Adrian the owner, demanded I pay the final balance of 1840 before they would address the GF heating which stopped working after they installed the new controller. When I reasonably refused to pay before they complete the job , Adrian swore at me over the phone the most offensive language. Furthermore, they promised to replace a new Miele microwave for the one they damaged during installation but now just walked away. Leaving me unresolved issues and additional repair cost!

He worked hard and got the job done but it wasn’t stress free for me. I wouldn’t say don’t hire,but some things to note.1. He will take off doors but will charge to put them back on but he let me know. 2. He isn’t very good with patterned tiles so use AI to decide beforehand. I had to ask him to redo a bit that was just random tile bits and he wasn’t happy about it. He broke the wall to make two tiles fit instead cut correct angle.3. asked me what height I wanted the skirting, asked his advice& agreed to it. Later when he discovered both plug sockets sat at bit under the skirting, he said I should have thought about that when I decided on the height!It’s costing a pretty penny to have the sockets moved. 4. If you ask him to use self levelling compound or black grout he will complain a lot, even when (SLC) it and lots of pictures were in the job description he quoted for. 5. He cannot cut neat circles in tiles.

He assured me that the work will be carried out in this time frame and adjusted his working days to make sure that it would happen. Taras did an excellent job on our bathroom. He has a real eye for detail and as a novice to renovating he was patient and helped me enormously with he process. He also built some practical yet beautiful cabinets for our washer/dryer/cleaning supplies. Most importantly for us, he understood that we were on a time line with a baby due so he stayed late and worked weekends to ensure he didn't overrun. We're so happy with Taras work and will definitely be hiring him again.

Terrible workmanship. Contractor was called back a number of times for remedial of his own work. Eventually, he became aggressive with my tenant by refusing to leave the premises until payment was made immediately for the substandard job. Regretfully, he was paid to prevent an escalation of the situation.
