Not to be trusted with big jobs. Claiming to be cheap he will pad out a job with short working hours, multiple cigarette/tea breaks and materials ordered far too soon to be immediately useful. He is messy, resulting in time lost finding his tools and building materials. More time is eaten up through several trips per day buying basic items that should be to hand for the job ahead. He is also over-familiar and foul mouthed with tobacco-related hygiene issues. He will bring a plasterer to the job whether or not he is needed because they are good friends. His workmanship, especially his tiling, is shoddy and his plumbing is both slow and doesn't follow good practice with regard to pressure testing. All of his on-show carpentry was done by another carpenter. He left the job early with screws through pipework, pipes that burst when put under pressure and other pipework rendered inaccessible underneath his tiling. Most offensively, he tried to blackmail me into writing him a good review on Mybuilder by offering himself as an advisor to whomever took over the unfinished work. To sum up, avoid.

They were extremely helpful, worked long hours at short notice and did everything from building work to electrics, tiling and plumbing. The team also fitted a kitchenette and removed the rubbish.
