Incompetent and vacuous. Didn’t read the plans or sizes at the start, which meant many crappy adjustments were made throughout, ie sink on the wrong side, oven protruding out etc. Anything that seemed hard was an ‘extra’ cost. Damaged most items that were installed and then refused to change them as it was too much effort. Quality of workmanship was very low, and finishes were terrible, when requested to amend he flatly refused. He seemed very inexperienced and possibly had never fitted a kitchen or bathroom before. Once he had received 90% of the contract money he started refusing to do things and not turning up, eventually leaving the job unfinished. He totally ignored requests to finish the job and kept our keys!! He is supposed to be a qualified gas engineer - however managed to break our boiler and then refused to fix it as he didn’t know how. I mean it’s just lunacy! We have since had another quote to complete the work and fix all the damage he caused which is the same price as what we have already paid. The new builder noted the work used primitive methods and was substandard. I would not recommend Nikolay at all. Total nightmare to deal with and unbearably unprofessional. I can only assume the other positive reviews on here are from his friends!!

We had 2 bathrooms refurbished at the same time by Romulus and his team over a 4 week period. Both bathrooms were completed on time and on budget. We were looking for 2 functional bathrooms, but ended up with 2 very high spec bathrooms within our original budget, and couldn't be happier with the high level of service and professionalism by all his team. We will now move forward and have his team refurbish our kitchen.

Alby was a pleasure from start to finish! We managed to time it so he could do the whole job while we were away, we just left him with the keys and he took care of everything! We arrived home the day he finished and it was on time and on budget and we are SO happy with the result - finished to a really high standard. He kept us updated with progress and gave us options to choose between for some of the fixtures and we're just so glad we went with Alby even though we met other suppliers with more ratings on My Builder! Would highly recommend :)

Very unprofessional person. Saw the job and gave a quote. We agreed the price and then he changed his mind. He gets others to do jobs and often they change mind. He changed his price twice and eventually changed his mind wasting over a week of my time. Don't hire. Not recommended.

We recently had our flooring fitted by Alex and were very pleased with the overall quality of the work. Alex was reliable, professional, and completed the job to a high standard. The floor looks great and we’re happy with the end result. The only reason for not giving a perfect rating is that a little more attention could have been paid to some of the finishing details. While nothing major, a bit more care with the final touches would have made the job exceptional. We have already flagged with Alex and he advised us how to fix which was much appreciated. Overall, we’re very satisfied with the service and would happily recommend him to others looking for a skilled and trustworthy floor fitter. Amazing!!!! Ion is extremely skilled and a very clean builder doing his utmost to create as little mess as possible and always cleaning up each evening. He completely renovated 2 small back to back bathrooms- this entailed removing all existing floor and wall tiles, knocking down I breeze block wall, building stud walls to house the frames for wall hung toilets and all the pipe work for the concealed showers, installing shower trays and rerouting the wastes so trays flush with the floor, installing shower screens, installing cabinets and basins, completely tiling both bathroom floors and walls including building recesses in shower walls. The end result was outstanding. I couldn’t have asked for a better worker!!
