They did a good job on getting my bathroom sorted. It did take a little longer than I would’ve hoped for but they kept me updated throughout the process. I did have issues with the shower leaking after they had completed but the builder made every effort to rectify the leak at no additional cost which was greatly appreciated. All in all I would recommend as they do a good job and offer competitive prices.

This involved clearing and levelling the area; moving and re-securing a bike shed; laying a patio and lawn; and a number of finishing touches. The area went from somewhat of an embarrassing eye-sore to an area of pride. One that several neighbours have already made compliments about. David provided a professional service from start to finish. His quote was more than I expected, but his knowledge and vision gave me the confidence to select his services. He provided a selection of options and stuck to budget; adapted well to new ideas/suggestions; and informed in advance where the cost would be impacted. This was the best experience I have ever had with a team of builders. Aldo and Leo were polite, organised and their workmanship is of a very high standard. They replaced the bathroom in our rental flat, and it looks really smart. They also refurbished the kitchen, replacing flooring and decorated the whole flat. We have just shown it to an estate agent as we are planning to sell it and they were very impressed. Aldo was very helpful in making suggestions of small changes that would save us money and delivered the project on time and right on budget. Would recommend them and will certainly use them again.

They started off with handyperson work around my flat, and I was going to call another company to do my kitchen tiling and to correct my damaged ceiling and walls. I was so impressed with their efficiency and professionalism, and asked them to work on the above. I was very pleased with the work done. They were honest in their pricing - looking for cost effective materials, and recommended the lower priced materials if I wish or to go for the designs I like. Importantly, they kept their words, from the start to when they completed the job. And, they cleaned up the flat when they completed the job and were mindful of where to dispose the rubbish. The job was for my mother in law and she was getting a little desperate to get it sorted. One deffo worn out toilet cistern ball cock and a minor but irritating leak. Fitter just about turned up within the agreed 3hr window start time but got on with it straight away. He was apparently very polite and efficient. We now have a flushing toilet with no leaks. It took 2hrs to complete but overall a good job. However, I would to say that at £180 labour for just 2hrs is a little pricey. The last plumber that I used end of last year charged me £250 for a solid full 8hr day. Would I use St James Way again? Possibly, but I would shop around more first.
