This is my first time using MyBuilder and I am pleased with the result. I was unsure about hiring We Fix Your House initially as they lack any feedback on this website, but after researching them online i was able to see their reviews from other sources which were impressive. Russ from We Fix was prompt in his responses to my queries. He drafted my bathroom in 3D design even before I accepted the quote, recommended the overall scheme, referred to suppliers (I was able to get trade discounts for tiles and some white goods). Workmanship was perfect with attention to detail, this team definitely takes pride in what they do. They also made sure communal areas are kept clean on daily basis (I have difficult neighbours). If you are looking for a communicative, honest and professional handyman, Sam is your man. We gave Sam 4 difficult handyman tasks to complete. He was honest to diagnose one and say it was beyond economical repair. He used expert initiative to remedy the other 3 and all are working well. Sam was quick and thorough to communicate from the beginning. He was friendly and polite throughout. He always worked and tried hard to resolve the works we needed. This was the best experience I have ever had with a team of builders. Aldo and Leo were polite, organised and their workmanship is of a very high standard. They replaced the bathroom in our rental flat, and it looks really smart. They also refurbished the kitchen, replacing flooring and decorated the whole flat. We have just shown it to an estate agent as we are planning to sell it and they were very impressed. Aldo was very helpful in making suggestions of small changes that would save us money and delivered the project on time and right on budget. Would recommend them and will certainly use them again.

Carlos’s work is of an exceptionally high standard & communication has been outstanding. He’s been a pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process. Polite, courteous & always carried out his word, arriving on time, always present when he said he would be, keeping us informed of his movements right from the outset, no nonsense delays. Carlos advised us of the work to be carried out professionally, honestly & with huge integrity, a rare find! His estimate was a true reflection of the work necessary with no nasty hidden extras so we were clear about what needed to be done and logical reasons as to why they needed to be done in that way. Any variation was explained to us before the work needed to be carried out with a sound reason for doing so. During the work Carlos was mindful of any possible disturbance, was meticulous, neat & extremely clean, & tidy. Our bathroom, toilet & kitchen were left polished, sparkling clean, conveniently ready for us to use again. The standard of work was quite exceptional: fitting of basin and bath taps with telephone shower, overhead shower, making good the walls, grouting and sealing of walls and floor tiles, repairing damage to kitchen ceiling, painting of bathroom and kitchen ceilings after water damage and going the extra mile to ensure the property was not just repaired but better than new! We’d like to keep Carlos all to ourselves, not tell anyone else but of course he deserves all the customers who commission him.
