Tommy was a wonderful perfectionist and has done beautiful work in our stairway and hallway which had needed refurbishment for a very long time. It feels brand new. The flooring is perfect both in the hall and staircase, and the walls are now perfectly smooth and painted immaculately. Ciprian did good work and had an eye for detail, but we had some issues which made me very stressed. He wanted 20% extra for a bank transfer so I asked for his VAT number but he said he could just put it as tax on the invoice. I think he quoted based on assuming I would pay cash for a large amount, which I would never do. Added to this, we felt let down with Ciprian not committing to work dates and not being specific with start dates, but vague or changing them. And he didn't tell me that I would need someone to collect the rubbish at an added cost. Furthermore, he took photos in my property without permission but I happened to see this. These things were such a shame as Ciprian tended to be very polite and hard working and I made a big effort to be kind to him at all times. His work is very good compared to others though and I would just hope upfront communication improves as if there wasn't this stress I would use him again if he would like more work as the quality of labour and cleanliness is commendable.
