I'm really pleased we hired Harry for some work on our back yard, external walls and drainage. We had a damp and drainage issue, but Harry was very reassuring, assessed and reassessed the issues and worked out fixes. He would consult us along the way, offering different solutions depending on time and budget. He was very trustworthy and friendly and we're very pleased with the standard of the work and the fact we were able restore an unloved space outside our home while solving the underlying issues we'd found. We wanted to extend our kitchen into a kitchen diner with an extension to the rear of our house. Mark drew the plans and provided some excellent planning services. The plans were passed first time with no problems. Even the building inspector (who is notoriously fussy) could not find fault. The building work was carried out another builder who consulted Mark on technical issues. Mark's expertise was apparent as the builder was more than happy to comply with Mark's advice even thought it meant more work for him. The build was completed on time and in budget. The pricing structure for the plans was very clear and we were very happy with the results. Mark is friendly, approachable and really listens to make sure that he knows what the client wants. We got exactly what we asked for. He has a broad knowledge of planning issues and construction problems and so can give advice easily, professionally and, most importantly, with great clarity. Simon was excellent in understanding my needs and requirements to gain access to my garden via a decking solution as a full time wheel chair user. Allowing me my own input as a Disability Consultant with my own knowledge of specifications and recommendations regarding Part M building regulations and BS8300. This meant we worked as a team and I felt that definitely helped to strengthen our case However it took 3 attempts and changes of plans and layout to get a positive outcome and full planning permission from our local planners. Simon was diligent and determined we would win through and his concise drawings and conscientious approach in assigning time both at home and on site to discuss and support my case and application meant all went well eventually.
