He is an excellent architect who has been exceptionally helpful throughout this stressful project.The drawings he has provided were detailed, easy to understand and managed to offer us options to turn the staircase around without having to lose the box room. We spoke with a number of architects for our project & having completed the project, I can say we are very happy with our choice of Colin & Niamh & would certainly recommend them. Particularly in terms of the design stage of things, we found their input invaluable. They came up with a design for both our loft & extension which included things we just never would have thought of on our own. They gave us different options for both parts of the build & were happy to let us steer them based on our preferences. After the design stage, during submissions for planning approval & subsequently throughout the build, they were always on hand to keep us posted & reply promptly to any queries we had. Compared to most of the other ‘professionals’ we encountered throughout the process, we found that they lived up to this moniker: they were professional & efficient from start to finish.

The practice consistently found creative solutions to difficult issues. We have received a high level of detail in the drawings and the drawings considered a lot more than we would have expected. We have really appreciated the level of thought and consideration that has been present throughout the process. It was a very difficult site with 11 party wall issues, a dangerous structure fronting a public highway. The whole process was dealt with very professionally and successfully.
