My skills are both with planning and building control packages. I tend to veer away from the pretty 3d rendered images as they tend to be both expensive and do not tell the complete picture of a design. I am not a structural engineer and I can't give professional advice as such. I think that's a truthful picture of myself. He did a job on a Saturday which was great as we really need this job to be done as soon as possible. The job was completed quickly, the adjustment to the doors are practically not noticeable and the doors and frames look great. Chris and his helper were very helpful and did a great job for us. James was instructed to review and improve an existing planning consent inherited after purchasing a site for development. The inherited consent was for thee townhouses and two semi detached properties. It had not been prepared very well and James was able to re-work the internal arrangements to produce a much more satisfactory layout throughout all the five buildings and even creating new garden space as well. This re-worked overall design is much more attractive both aesthetically and practically for an end-user resulting in a quite substantial increase in market value for the scheme overall following re-valuation and will undoubtedly assist the eventual marketing. The service has been very impressive being prompt, reliable, going further than the original brief in some instances to deliver the final revised approved planning consent -a task in itself with the planning authority concerned - and undertaken with a high degree of professionalism throughout. I look forward to working with James on future projects and would recommend his services without hesitation.
