Our process and services include; 1. Free initial consultation/site visit. We always recommend an in-person visit to see your property or site, and discuss your requirements in detail. You will be able to ask questions and at the same time we will explain the full process from design and planning to construction and handover, addressing any concerns 2. Survey and design. The survey is where the fun begins. This may involve a detailed measured survey of your existing property or a site. The information will be used to develop an accurate 3D model which allows us to compare directly between existing and proposed designs. 3. Planning. We are skilled at navigating planning policy which informs the design. Once a design is signed off, the project will be submitted to planning for approval. The studio works closely with planning officers, responding to queries to achieve a positive outcome. 4. Technical design. Building regulations can be complex however, the studio is well versed at producing innovative, intricate and detailed technical drawings. The key is to ensure the design and pre-construction health and safety information is complete and clear for contractors to build from. 5. Tender / Builder quotes. With building regulations approval granted, the drawings, specifications and pricing document can be issued to reputable contractors for quotes. We can manage the entire process, communicating with the contractors ensuring quotes are like for like, and the tendering process is fair. 6. Construction and handover. The preparation and hard work pays off and the vision becomes reality. The contractor builds the project from the approved plans. We assist on site with contract administration duties, ensuring contract provisions are met by both parties and the workmanship is to a high standard. Together we can bring your project to life. Architectural Design Engineer (Designer and Air Source Heat Pump Designer) I can create architectural floor plans, elevations, sections, site plans for customers to get planning permission granted. I can do this for existing buildings that need extensions or design brand new buildings. With these drawings, I can produce high level renders to allow customers to imagine their designs. I can also carry out heat loss calculations on site or from plans to design Air Source Heat Pump systems to a high level. I have designed over 600 ASHP system designs for every building type imaginable from small domestic properties to multi million pound homes, churches, mosques and entire housing estates. My most recent design which I am proud of was designing 2 separate ASHP systems for properties owned by members of the Swedish royal family.
