Chris Lane made a complete success of the job (pair of alcove doors in an awkward space) for which I called him in. This really was an impressive performance. He arrived on time, was full of sensible ideas, left no mess and showed a very pleasant manner throughout. He completed the work quickly and the finished product is far better than I anticipated: really excellent value for money. I will certainly hire him again and would heartily recommend him to others.

Sid was a polite guy. Did a great job at laying the parquet floor. We then had thresholds fitted and he was rushed to get to another job, they were not fixed correctly. I asked several times via phone calls and texts if he could come back and finish the job. He said he would contact me and the call never came. I told him my little boy had cut his foot on the threshold that needed fixing. Nothing. Radio silence. December to date no contact. Steer clear he clearly cannot manage a job and finish it to the end.

The job looks unfinished as not silconed which I thought would have been done. Measured incorrectly which meant coming back the next day and asked me to pay extra as it was inconvenient for him to go back to the shop. Having a closer look some pieces dont look to be measured correctly leaving big gaps. Left a big mess outside in my garden and quickly made an exit once cash was in his hand. Also made comment how this site takes interest for advertising a customer doesn't need to know this information. Overall not happy with the service and will not be recommending or using this service again.
