I am a time served bench joiner, carpenter and furniture maker specialising in restoration and conservation across Scotland. I have extensive experience manufacturing and restoring Sash and Casement windows - from refurbishment and restorations to full double glazing upgrades. I am happy to accommodate and advise on suitable and appropriate approaches. I also have experience working contractually for Historic Scotland, specifically in the restoration of Duart Castle, Isle of Mull. In particular the restoration of timber casement windows, internal wooden structures as well as furniture and fixtures within the castle. I work on site as well as having a workshop facitlity based in Balerno, where I can manufacture timber components for windows ans doors as well as repair, and restore furniture.
