Windows & Doors (uPVC & Metal)- 8 Oct 2026
I cannot recommend this company highly enough. From the first visit through to completion, they were friendly, professional, honest and incredibly knowledgeable. My aim was to repair and extend the life of my existing uPVC windows rather than replace them unnecessarily, and they completely understood that approach. They carried out a thorough inspection, identified numerous issues with hinges, seals, hardware and finishing details, and took the time to explain everything clearly. What impressed me most was their honesty. They found several problems that could easily have been used as an opportunity to recommend expensive replacements or additional work, but instead they focused on practical, cost-effective repairs. It was obvious that their priority was doing the right job, not generating the biggest invoice. They were flexible, reliable, tidy and a pleasure to deal with throughout. The quality of the work was excellent and the windows now operate far better than before.

Painting & Decorating- 24 Feb 2020
Quite literally the worst tradesman I have ever worked within 25 years as a property developer! He came and quoted to paint my house (a good price I must say), little did I know that this meant he would spray everything that he can see, not prepare the surfaces by sanding them down or protects things. This included door handles, hinges, radiators, alarms sensors, tiles and my own furniture and cooking utensils. First time I confronted him about this he said that we would clean everything, and we agreed to carry own. However, it became apparent that we was doing the same as previously discussed. have paid hi 66% of what was agreed, I quickly realised that the damaged he has caused was going to cost me far more and I told him to leave. The next day he turned up at my house with his wife demanding the balance which I refused to give him, they were both shouting outside my house, threatening to call the police. I eventually agreed to pay the 50% of what was left, just so that they would leave. However, even once he had confirmed writing his acceptance of this, he walks over to me and threatened me one final time, saying that he will take me to court etc, there is god and he will see to me! I advise to stay away from this person, better to pay a little more and work with professionals who don't agree with one thing and do another. He paints using a spray, which means you can not touch anything up and he quite literally paints everything he sees!!

Extensions- 11 May 2018
After a rogue builder left me with 18 (eighteen) structural issues. Lez and his crew came in transformed my failed extension into a masterpiece. All aspects of the job was done to the highest quality and utmost care and attention to detail was shown to building control needs. They cleaned up after every day and made sure the house was habitable, as I had to live there. Every aspect of the build, from the carpentry, plastering and tiling was first class and their recommend electrician and plumbers were from the same stock. Total professionals. My only regret is that I did not use this builder the first time. The prices were reasonable and even building control had good word to say about their work. Thanks Lez

Do you need to conduct a survey before installation?

West Ham door fitters may conduct a pre-installation survey to ensure the door fits properly. This involves taking measurements and assessing the condition of the door frame to avoid issues during the fitting process.

What is the estimated timeline for installation?

The West Ham fitter should provide a clear timeline for how long the installation will take. A typical installation can take anywhere from a few hours to several days, depending on the complexity of the job and the number of doors being fitted.
