I couldn't recommend Courtney enough. I had a problem living in a ground floor flat in an older property. Got told so many different things but Courtney came along and suggested the first thing to try which was also the most cost effective. His labour rates are not the cheapest nor the most expensive but good value - he is a man of integrity that explains the problem, potential outcomes and a price for all scenarios. Jay is, without doubt, the most helpful tradesman I've ever hired! He asked plenty of questions before providing a detailed, itemised written quote including areas where I could save money (for example by stripping wallpaper myself). He completely understood the quality of finish we wanted in the bedrooms within the context of our larger refurbishment project. His team were polite and tidy (given how messy plastering is of course!) and always prompt. The decorator he brought in to paint the newly skimmed walls was excellent and we're really pleased with the end result. Jay, on the other hand, apologised profusely for some minor glitches in the finish of the plaster and discounted his price as a goodwill gesture. We were so happy with his work that we swiftly used Jay and his team to skim and decorate another room in the house and will use them again when we get round to others! One of the best things about Jay was his willingness not only to recommend other tradesmen for other work we needed doing but to bring them in off his own bat where appropriate - super helpful and much more efficient.Latest review:Plastering-Mari's House And Garden Ltd

Over the last fifteen years I refined my tiling and plumbing skills whilst fitting kitchens and bathrooms. During this time I also developed a love for carpentry and kitchen fitting. For larger projects I have established working relationships with electricians, heating engineers and other tradesmen to provide a full renovation service.
I hired Raphael on the back of the amount of very positive reviews he has on mybuilder.com and I was not disappointed. Raphael was so great I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is a conscientious, diligent and reliable person and his work is excellent. I asked him to get my house ready for sale, some tiling, decorating and general smarten up and nothing was too much trouble. He arrived when scheduled and always responded to any changes I made with flexibility and insightful suggestions.
