Could not recommend more highly, the best client service and product I have ever received. This is a father and son team who absolutely shattered expectations - we genuinely consider ourselves so lucky to have found David and his father and couldn't be happier with their service. On the first meeting their expertise was immediately obvious, with just a single walk through of the property being enough for them to identify what we needed and pick up on details that only comes from years and years of practical experience. That set the tone for rest of the relationship, with there being so many instances of them going out of there way with no other intention than to provide the best client outcome possible. Here are just a few examples that show their genuine client care and professionalism: - David was constantly available on WhatsApp or the phone to answer questions or provide advice with almost instant responses. I don't think I've ever experienced better client service in any context. - David and his dad personally ran around London for days trying to find replacement doors that fit the frames, picked up paints from the store, found and purchased appropriate fittings like door stops, light switch covers etc. - these small things were taken care of us with just us needing to approve options they found in store. It was a massive time and stress saver for us. - we were doing this on the fly so evolved our requirements almost constantly throughout the project - these were always accommodated and not only that, with such a positive and helpful attitude that it made our lives so much easier - when retiling the bathroom they informed me they would have to take the cabinets out to tile underneath - I suggested they could tile around it but insisted that it should be done in case we ever wanted to replace the cabinet. They did this at no extra cost to ourselves, just extra work for them which underscores their professionalism. - they gave proactive advice on so many aspects of the project, including the most appropriate paints and floor varnishes, proactively identifying design faults that we were not aware of and remediating them (e.g. very oddly placed light switches), identified a pretty shoddy job of repairing a leak in the loft and future proofed it for us which is again something we would never have been aware of until another leak occurred, they even proactively put a small sliding door into the bathtub panelling (no extra cost) to ensure any future plumbing issues could easily be investigated. - they were unbelievably clean which was such a nice bonus - the property was immaculate at the end of every day, and for me that showed a level of respect for clients and the property that is so hard to find. - measurements - they took care of all of these for us , including tile measurements, blinds, garden edging etc. - it was such a luxury to be able to just be told how much of each needed to be ordered and they were 100% accurate - again such a time and stress saver for us. These are just some examples of our experience, I can honestly say that this is the lever of service we received throughout. With such an amazing service you might think that they would have charged a premium. This was not the case, in fact the opposite, I could easily see another contractor charge 2-3 times what we paid, and it is particularly impressive when you consider the flawless finishing and breadth of work they undertook - the whole house repainted (walls, ceilings, cabinets), the flooring sanded and revarnished plus carpet upstairs taken out and floorboards repaired, painted and varnished, garden landscaped, bathrooms retiling, fireplace retailing, toilets replaced, light switches rewired etc - it was a full makeover. They also achieved all this in 2 weeks - that is no mean feat but is even more impressive when you consider that our requirements were constantly evolving - they took all in their stride and just replanned sequencing of activities to accommodate us. We have since passed David's details onto no less than 5 friends who have all been absolutely delighted, so we've put our recommendation into practice!

One word to define this 'company' COWBOY builders. Numerous issues one after another. Had to get 2nd/3rd opinion on their work to make sure I wasn't being fobbed off. Conducted loads of research which meant left being uneasy especially as a large chunk of payment was made after only 1 day of work when in fact payment was due end of completion. 1- Underestimating material costs 2- Slabs off the walkway coming loose within 2 months of being put down 3- Ignoring attempts of rectifying the flawed job 4- walkway was meant to be clear of grass and strictly shingles but grass/weed still appearing. 5- Forgot to state ground levels would be raised then creating a lie saying I had been told 6- denying and ignoring the obvious Wouldn't trust the reviews being left here and definitely wouldn't use or recommend them to anyone. Have decided to give up on trying to get them to fix their shoddy job and find someone else to fix their mess Correction - you was aware & agreed with mat delivery

Although we initially hired him for just a bathroom tiling job, we were so thrilled with his work that we have hired him back for various jobs (carpentry, plastering and skimming) around the house. Daniel and his team at DAKUS Construction were polite, friendly and punctual. Prior to starting the work, he provided a fair quote and supplied a clear list of what was covered. He also flagged up improvements and provided helpful advice and solutions. While working on the main job he came across small faults and corrected them as part of his original quote. He kept us informed of job progress and consulted us if any changes from the original plan were required. Daniel sourced and supplied most materials, which was very convenient. Particularly sourcing and collecting the tiles and a new bath saved us a lot of trouble. His organised and methodical approach meant the job was completed on time and all fitted units and appliances worked properly and smoothly, so after a few days we have a beautiful and fully functional bathroom. His team were considerate and made a great job of clearing up the waste and leaving things tidy through and after the job was finished. We recommend DAKUS Construction and hope to be able to use them if the future for other projects.

Damien promptly followed up on my post with a phone call and a visit to assess the job. Provided me with an accurate quote and advised me on additional material I would need. After accepting the quote they scheduled the job in within a week and the team got the job done within 72 hours without disrupting my schedule. Also tidied up afterwards and fitted a radiator cover which was a nice bonus. Delighted with my newly laid LVT and porcelain tiles. Highly recommended!

I do not gain or lose anything from this review, so I will be as honest as I can. Leo and his colleague Toly were hired to replace hallway and bathroom floor tiles, cut and install ceramic skirting boards, install new bathroom shelves and sink, new kitchen splashback, solid oak bench and kitchen sink, and also paint the walls. They are professionals and they take pride in the quality of their work. They labor hard, and they get the job done. They do not come cheap but their rates are ultimately fair, and in this industry you get what you pay for. There are a lot of cowboy/clown builders out there, and Leo is not among them. I would definitely recommend hiring him.
