Latest review:Repointing-James did a fantastic job. Immaculate workmanship - finished exactly when he predicted - cleaned up after himself. When he came to quote, he very obviously knew what he was talking about, and gave me the confidence to choose him and his company. Not the cheapest quote I had, but he gave me a price up front and stuck to it. No ‘added costs’ or ‘extra jobs’ that came up, so in the end he probably was the most economical. I’m very glad I asked him to do the work, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

The brickwork had all been badly damaged while removing the pebbledash plaster and practically all the bricks required some repair. Tahir's skill and attention to detail was very impressive - he even repaired and rebuilt some of the original plaster mouldings as well. Also a very nice person to deal with. We have since used him on another project and would highly recommend him as one of the best out there to carry out this kind of work.

Rating: 4.9 out of 5 4.9577 reviewsI should start by saying Tony is a lovely guy. Very friendly and easy going so there was no issues interpersonally. We had him quote for both the repointing job and the removal and correct re-fit of a previously poorly fitted window. Both were done on the same day. The pointing work was ok a little rushed but as an old building it didn’t require perfection. We did have issues with the window. The finish of the sealant was awful and messy with lots of gaps and very slap dash. There was also big holes left around the window and despite refitting was still a gap on one side. We called Tony and he came back to rectify the issue stating his previous colleague was behind the poor finish. Unfortunately on the second visit the feedback was much the same. The window is securely in but the finish is rushed and definitely not what you’d expect from DIY let alone a professional builder. We are having to scrape out and redo all sealant where we can. Tony’s quote was one of the highest we received but we wanted it done well. No discount was offered for the cost we’ve now incurred to rectify. They did offer to come back again a 3rd time but with the exact same feedback as the 2nd visit we didn’t see the point. Nice guy but not one if you’re after a high quality finish.
