Jack is a reliable friendly and very hard working person. He worked independently and without a break to repair/re-point my garden wall bringing all the required materials with him including water! Trudi is a lovely friendly lady. She let us know when she was on the way to us. She has done a fantastic job of chiselling, using stonesaw to get out the old mortar then repointing/filling our steps. Luke repointed my bulwell stone wall. He raked out all the old mortar and the correct lime mortar (I think that’s what is called) to repoint it. He did such a good job that the man across the road also had Luke to repoint his wall! He arrived on time and worked really hard for two full days . The wall looks great and I’m sure it will for years to come. I would recommend Luke to anyone else wanting to look after/ renovate their stone Wall. Russ and his family were working on the drystone wall around my house. They have also carried out laying dry stone walls for a lot of my neighbors around my property. They did stunning jobs and also as a family, they worked even on the weekends and public holidays to get the work done on time. We’re absolutely delighted with the quality of the workmanship Mark put in to restore our tired, chipped and stained front-doorsteps! Mark instinctively recognised that we are keen to keep as close to the original features of our Edwardian home, and replaced the old stone treads and risers with new York stone for us! Get in touchI started my career by training in stone cutting at Weymouth college, before gaining more experience through the Prince's Foundation, and spending a year in France with the Compagnon du Devoir. It's now been 10 years since I started masonry and I have since gained experience with a variety of stones, techniques and styles. This has left me capable of undertaking a wide range of tasks related to traditional stone masonry, and completing them to a high degree of satisfaction.
