For many years I have had problems with the grass quality in the back garden with weeds and moss. This year I decided to have a patio and artificial grass laid to overcome my frustrations. Jamie from active groundwork services came to view the task I had initially thought of, with his experience in this type of garden work he suggested I go a little further and designed a plan to rejuvenate the area. What a complete difference and impact his idea had on the project, the end product was totally amazing. Jamie's quality of workmanship and finishing is of a very high standard, he goes out of his way to provide advice and suggestions throughout all stages of the work, and had a very helpful understanding attitude, this coupled with a competitive price, I would highly recommend Jamie to anyone, to a point that I would not consider any other firm before consulting him. There are a few other little issues/jobs I have in the front and side of the house which Jamie is kindly going to address in the near future. Thank you.

highly recommend Acl brickwork for any major building work. They recently completed a double extension and a full driveway replacement for us. From the initial quote to the final handover, Ashley and his team were fantastic to deal with. The brickwork on the extension matches our original house perfectly, and the finish inside is flawless. The new driveway looks incredibly sharp and has massive curb appeal. Major construction can be stressful, but they kept the site tidy, stuck to the agreed timeline, and were polite and respectful of our neighbours. A huge thank you to the whole team for a job well done!

Unreliable,uncommunicative,untrustworthy,dillusional and unreasonable is how we find Dai.He came and gave us a quote(him and Melissa via email)We agreed start date 1st may.At 1st May 1300hours I text him and he write. "Due to complication at the job in hand he cannot start till 5th may" we agreed again. Come 5th of May 30 minutes before start time. Now he says he needs contract signed. We pointed out WE HAVENT RECEIVED ANY CONTRACT(in email and text) then he comes back accusing us being rude to Melissa? And he requires deposit(HALF AN HOUR BEFORE STARTING THE JOB) When we point out NEITHER WE RECEIVED ANY CONTRACT, as he suggested, NOR WE TALKED ABOUT THE DEPOSIT IN QUOTE OR VERBALLY. we dont even know what the deposit was? Which shows his communicative skills. He stopped writing. We have been unable to raise him in any means. So we thanked him and take his silence as refusal. HIRE HIM AT YOUR PERIL. after 5 weeks we are back to square one because of him, and starting over again.
