All Aspects of brickwork Under taken🧱 I would like to respond in a correspondence to a customer that left me negative feedback. Firstly I didn’t change the agreed price I simply added extra costs necessary to complete a 53 ft wall after already completing a 23 ft wall in the same garden, as you are aware budgets are some times slightly stretched due to additional materials ect. I had other jobs to start besides this one and completed the majority of the wall and had set a date to come and further complete the work. When I mentioned that we would need extra materials the customer was rather upset and had told me that this was out of her budget however I had already cut my prices massively as I wanted to support her in the best way I could. Unfortunately this was still not enough and the backlash I have now faced from this customer has been extremely disappointing as I held up my end of the bargain by completing and proceeding quality work for her as promised and accommodated her needs to the best of my abilities even if it meant I was short and definitely way under charging. I understand her frustration however I cannot complete work without the finances to complete it I simply cannot go out of pocket to complete work for someone else it’s just not how running a business works, however I did my very best in order to support the customer and listen to everything she needed and made sure to meet her needs which I know I did. With this all being said there were treats made by the customer and it is in my professional opinion that I am not to tolerate that from any customer no matter how frustrated they may be as this is just not the done thing. I am happy to complete work for anyone and absolutely love my job, I wouldn’t be doing it for a living if I didn’t it really is my pride and joy. Unfortunately I’ve just come into contact with a customer that wasn’t prepared to adjust her budget as we agreed. I understand that people have budgets set for a reason however it is just not possible to complete the work for a low price.
