We put the ad up on Saturday morning, Ed popped over in the afternoon and gave us a quote and the job was completed on Monday! Super quick process. For a job that was causing us stress and we quickly realised we couldn’t do ourselves, Ed came in and sorted it really quickly as well as giving us advice on next steps for our redecorating. Will be contacting again when we need further help!

I am extremely happy of how my flat looks thanks to the work done by Oliver and his team! They re-built a wall between the storage room and the bathroom, set-up all the pipe works in the bathroom, tiled the walls, installed the sanitary ware, painted and completed other decoration works. Oliver is a very honest person, whom you can trust. I spent the amount of the detailed quote we had agreed on, which was essential for me since I had no more than that amount of money! He is always available to meet up and discuss as needed and he has been very supportive and flexible when the tiles provider made several delivery mistakes. Above all, he is an extremely nice human being! Thanks Oliver!

The job carried out by Mr Milani was done in an extremely rudimentary manner, with zero attention to detail and numerous lies throughout the process. He initially quoted £12,000 and promised completion within 2–3 weeks. In reality, the job took over 8 weeks and he demanded an additional £4,000 for plastering a small bathroom — a task he never actually completed, as he simply boarded it up instead. The measurements he provided for the stairs were completely wrong, and the tiling work is appalling — leaving gaps of nearly an inch between tiles and all tiles misaligned. I gave him the opportunity to rectify these issues, but as expected, he never did. This entire experience has been dreadful. I have lost significant time, money, a client, and even my sleep and health over this. His behaviour and workmanship are completely unacceptable. Do not hire him!

I bought an old property end of last year that was in need of complete refurbishment posting my job via mybuilder.com. The impression I had straight away from Lucas and Dorota is that they are hardworking, honest people and I selected them because of their great attitude. As expected the property was in far worse shape than I thought and I am not sure what I would have done without L&D. They were positive all the way but realistic and gave me clear options for every stage. Their team is hard working and clean and so were the people (electrician, plumber etc) they had to involve. Because of the high standards they set I was often disappointed when having to appoint third parties for things L&D weren’t able to provide (such as audio). Third parties didn’t care about detail and unless I was there to micromanage every single step, things got damaged. This is completely unthinkable when you work with L&D, they stand for what they do and they care. One thing I can say about myself being their client, I am difficult. I get extremely wound up when something is not done to absolute perfection. You can see for yourself if you want and come round, the property really has been done up to the highest standard. D also understood my style and did all the interior design. She is very talented! The project, however at times stressful, has given me my dreamhome and as an extra bonus I gained two new friends in L&D. I am excited to get them to do my loft extension in the near future.
