I had a 2 bed house completely refurbished. This involved taking everything out and installing a new kitchen, plumbing, electrics, boiler, bathroom, skimming, painting, doors, removal of chimney breast, new tile flooring on ground level, installation of a new toilet, painting etc. Overall, I am pleased with the work that was done by Majed & his team and more importantly the spirit in which we were able to work together. I am happy with the overall quality of the work that was done and pricing. I would recommend Majed for such projects going forward. I found Majed & his team very good to work with as issues always come up in such projects, I found that when unexpected issues came up, Majed was able to provide good solutions without much hassle. I found this to be very important for me as someone who is not very experienced with this kind of work. With any snags that I had at the end, Majed came promptly to fix them If I am to highlight any negative, it would the work took longer than expected by about 2 weeks. I think the work could have finished quicker if more people were allocated to work on the project.

He did the extension well, brick work is good, rendering on front of house good, terrace and wall with the neighbours good ,toilet under the stairs good, dividing wall in the living room with sliding doors good, kitchen installed good. Fence wall in front of house good brick work wrong bricks but it’s ok. Herringbone parchet wrong with gaps and lifted, rendering on the side of house wrong with marks, the new boiler took 2 months to make it work and the radiators still don’t work. Electrical work bad, after bringing another engineer to check we discovered at the boiler live cut cables that were loose and veri dangerous. Took 4 months to finish job we waited one month for the plumber who either way did a bad job. Laurentiu did not finish the job because of plumbing and rendering, and we ended in bad terms, he left us money to compensate for it. I would recommend him for extensions and any brick work, he needs to improve in pluming, electrical, flooring and rendering.

We have been working with Derek Borkiewicz (Sebek Construction) on a renovation of a garden flat in Little Venice since last autumn. We needed to completely restore the whole flat, including the garden. This was our second renovation project and by this time we knew what we wanted to do, which mistakes to avoid and what to pretend from a qualified builder. We will never stop saying how lucky we have been to find Derek and his team! Derek is not only a professional builder who is very careful to the smallest of the details. He is not only a very good project manager who is constantly checking the work of his men. Derek is a friend who takes on board a project like it is his own project. He suggested the most convenient and best solutions for any problem we came across during the works. There wasn’t a time when he didn’t know what to do to solve a difficult situation (and there are lots of small and big issues coming up in a renovation work) no matter how complicate they were and how long it took to solve them. His availability and his courtesy are incredible above all in a fast running city like London. This is priceless to us. His hard work can be seen in the wonderful result we reached with this garden flat. If we ever decide to work on another project we won’t think twice about working with Derek once again. In fact, now that we found the perfect man to work with, we are looking forward to finding another renovation project to work on! Monica

My young son said I had been scammed and bought a bad house. I think it was the worst house in South Woodford. It is now one of the best. I can't praise Omniscient highly enough for their professional skills, project management, value, pace, problem solving, patience, communications, quality of team and final product. I enjoyed working with them I felt we worked well as a team. They transformed a run down 3 bed semi into a 5 bed 3 bath beautiful townhouse in 5 months. My main complaint is that I moved in just before lockdown so had no opportunity to show it off. Thank you to Joe, Jason and the whole team. I cannot post photos here but am happy to speak/share photos with potential clients.

Raimundas was such a pleasure to work with! By the time I got in touch with him, I had gotten multiple quotes and had a contractor leave my job unexpectedly. I was at a point where I just needed someone to get in and do the job quick. Raimundas did just that. He came in, knew what to do, made recommendations when I needed them and went above and beyond with project management, sourcing of materials and making the entire process less stressful for me as I have little to no experience with building and such. He was always responsive to calls and messages, and did a fantastic job of answering my questions and allaying my concerns when I had any. They arrived promptly to look at the job, took photos, and came back a couple of weeks later and completed the work to a highly professional finish. The original job for a bathroom renovation turned into a much bigger job. Raphael and his team ended up helping design and renovate the bathroom, bedroom, living room and hallway. The team helped us source all the materials including underfloor heating and an incredibly intricate mosaic tiled floor in the hallway. They provided practical advise about what was best for the space, what would work within our budget and what would be easy to live with. For example, the team installed underfloor heating in the living room using wood effect herringbone ceramic tiles which would help get the maximum efficiency out of the underfloor heating whilst giving us the wooden flooring look we desired. Raphael and the team were excellent throughout delivering high quality work and we were more than happy with the final results. I would highly recommend Raph and his team.
