Lee converted our property from a 4-bedroom house into a 6-bedroom HMO, and he did an amazing job while keeping to the agreed 6-month timeline. Lee and his team delivered on every expectation at every stage of the project, which included a loft dormer conversion and a rear extension. They also completed six en-suite bathrooms, a new kitchen, a full rewire, plastering throughout, plumbing, joinery works, damp-proofing works, and installed new fire escape windows throughout the property. Lee managed the entire process professionally and ensured everything was signed off by Building Control. AVOID!!! Do not use this ‘builder’ Started off with his public liability insurance being 5 months out of date. Questioned this and he said he ‘didn’t realise’ and then renewed it Used all of my partners things, even though we had things covered over and folded away. If things are under a cover they are there for a reason! Mixed plaster up in one of our buckets! Continuous promises were made for things and then weren’t carried out. I understand jobs sometimes don’t go to plan but 2 jobs were supposed to take 2 weeks. A MONTH later neither jobs are complete! Absolutely ZERO communication about whether he was going to turn up or not! Left our house an absolute mess. Clearly has absolutely no respect for our property at all other wise there wouldn’t be chunks out of door frames and walls, our clothes rail wouldn’t be smashed in pieces and you wouldn’t be throwing bricks out of a top floor window when there is a car directly under neath on the drive! Oh and it’s funny that he hasn’t turned up all week, but because of the stress he’s put us through over the last month we made the decision to tell him not to return last night. No response to the message. But turned up today to collect a few things he left at the house! Funny that you haven’t turned up all week to do the work but will turn up straight after we’ve told you not to come back! It’s a relief knowing that he’s not coming back to our house that we have worked hard to buy as young first time buyers!

Fire damaged stonework above an electricity meter box and around a kitchen window. An awkward job but DSR were able to rise to the challenge. They turned up when they said they would so the job could interface with the window installers. They were also confident and competent enough to work in the vicinity of the meter box without the need to require disconnection which maintained our electricity supply. The quality of the finished stonework was very good and the lads were pleasant on site. All round good job and very satisfied, would easily recommend.

We got a cracking good job from Andy and his team on our 1st floor extention in Longbenton. They were all reliable good tradesmen and nice lads to deal with. Andy also had good ideas while doing the work and any extras that we wanted were swiftly dealt with.
