Dave was able to schedule the work quickly and line up his trade connections to come in without any delays. We are really pleased with the result, which wasn’t without complexities along the way. I would use R&D again and I’m so please that I had these reviews to go on. The price was what I expected and there were no nasty shocks there. The guys turn up early and clean up after themselves. Can’t fault them. The other carpenters had just advised replacing it, at extra cost, but he found a way to fix it and make good, and replaced the handle while he was there. He then quickly resolved my patio doors that wouldn't shut properly, by rehanging them. And he insulated/draught-proofed by front door. All in half a day's work. I appreciate Jeremy's honesty in using the simplest and cheapest solution and have already recommended him to a friend. I have concertrated mainly on 2nd fix for the last few years hanging doors fitting locks , skirting & architrave , kitchen fitting and more. I also design and construct bespoke furniture and storage solutions out of sheet material (mdf etc ) under stair cupboards, wardrobes ,window boxes and similar.
Get in touchScott did a quiet excellent job repairing the bottom of a door which was rotten. We found him extremely pleasant, cooperative and helpful at all times. He went to a lot of trouble to match the wood that had to be removed. I would certainly use him again if the necessity arose.

I have been fitting kitchens for around 10 years now and also been doing a lot of building work which has been for around 6 years now. Included in this, I am able to do wall and floor tiling, laying wood flooring, painting and carpentry work. I am also able to complete decking and patio projects.

They work hard and are very easy and pleasant to deal with - happily accommodating my indecision and any changes I wanted. The quality of the work is very high.
