Now that Marius and John are finished, my bathroom looks amazing! Marius is more than a builder; he's an artist and a high-calibre craftsman. My little bathroom now looks like something you would find in a 5-star hotel. I did pay more for Marius's work, but I've learned that you get what you pay for, and you pay for what you get. Get in touchTony and Joe have done a lovely job refitting the kitchen, bathroom and cloakroom, creating a new en suite shower and walk-in wardrobe in the master bedroom and turning a leaky flat-roofed extension into a dry, insulated utility/workshop. It was not a straightforward job - this Victorian house threw up a number of unexpected problems once the old fittings were removed - but Tony was always able to find solutions and the result is a streamlined finish with wiring and pipework concealed where before it had been on show. Tony and Joe were nice people to have in the house, we had a good few laughs while they were here but never at the expense of the job. They always turned up on time and did a good day's work. When problems did arise Tony explained them clearly and we discussed options before he continued work. If he was ever disheartened by the frequent discovery of crumbling plaster or ancient wiring he never showed it in my presence! Back in the office Jess was enormously helpful in the early stages, during the first lockdown. Much of the selection of bathroom and wardrobe fixtures and fittings was done online and Jess was able to recommend suppliers and websites which were unfamiliar to me. Once the work was underway Jess ensured that these fittings arrived on site as they were needed - not always an easy job when there were often Covid-related disruptions. My work is always of very high quality and I’m up to date with the latest building techniques. I prefer medium to large size projects but don’t mind something smaller here and then. I’m friendly and on time every day.
